HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Back in 2007, while on maternity leave, my eldest daughter, then a toddler, came to me with a shiny new playdough set demanding all sorts of models from flowers to farmyard animals but mainly Peppa Pig. Anyway, it turned out I wasn't too bad at modelling the dough plus I quite enjoyed the challenge of making the different figures. So with family birthdays coming up I moved on to fondant icing, hijacked any cake requests and combined with my experience and knowledge as a chef my fledgling career as a Cake Decorator had begun.

Since then I have learned a great deal, both self taught and having gone back to college.
